Harvest is close at hand, and our job these days is to study every detail and respond to the cues that Mother Nature delivers to us.

It’s always fun to hear how people find us! “This winery was something we Googled and found on Yelp. We were so lucky to find it. The family was very warm and welcoming. They even invited us into their home for a walk-through of their beautiful house. The wine was delicious and it was well worth finding. I would look forward to going back again. Amazing story behind why this winery was started. It’s neat to see the family history. The fact that it was named after their grandmother too was really amazing. We were very thankful and blessed to find this quaint, family-owned winery. Looking forward to visiting again!” – Katie

Review of the 2017 Reserve Pinot Noir: The PinotFile calls this wine—made in a limited run of 74 cases—“surprisingly forward for a 2017 release, displaying a deep spiced cherry-flavored core filled out with a bit of toasty oak in the background. Soothing in texture and easy to like. Score: 93.”

Sometimes it is time to kick back and enjoy…sometimes it is time to be serious about wine…. at Gracianna you can have both!

Wineries and dogs go hand in paw! Meet Casper! #thedogsofwine

We make our wine at an offsite winery, and we spend a lot of time there checking on our wine in the barrels and keeping an eye on the bottling and labeling process. Once it a while we do a little barrel tasting to see how things are coming along.

Take a look at this new guest review for our Winery Loft, available on Airbnb: “Wow! This may be one of my favorite places that we have ever stayed at. The location is amazing and you can walk through the vineyards in the morning and it is so peaceful. The loft is extremely spacious, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. More importantly, the hosts and the team at Gracianna are very gracious, kind, and communicative. Their wine is outstanding and they were happy to host and talk to our friends who visited for wine tasting as well (we were there for a wedding nearby). Highly recommend!”

Vino for breakfast? Don’t mind if we do.

Lately, we’ve been doing some leafing on our Mercedes Riverblock Pinot Noir vines- our team trims off the leaves and vines on the side that faces the morning sun, to let the light filter through. The leaves are left in place on the side that gets afternoon sun to protect the grapes from the intense heat. It’s all about growing the best possible fruit that requires minimal intervention to make brilliant wine!

Medallion club members @digitalnomadsinlove write: There are wines that we like to drink, and then there are wines that make us fall in love, over and over again. Gracianna is the standard by which I measure any other wine, it simply touches my soul. Today we spent some time with our friends at Gracianna Winery, Trini and Lisa Amador, and their delightful rescue Wine Dog Sadie. They’re recovering from a devastating flood at the Winery, but their joyous, gracious spirits are shining more than ever. So grateful for their hospitality. ❤️????❤️
